About Maggie

This is Maggie’s fun side project amidst life’s busyness. Maggie has a penchant for Bad “Christian” Films (you know the ones: bad acting, predictable plots, heteronormativity, and dated gender roles). Here is where she will review them for you and critique their theology. For palette cleansers she’ll add media that is well done & possesses good theology. This may also be a nice spot for the odd sermon text when I get to preach.

Maggie holds a BA in History from Florida International University in Miami, & a Master of Divinity (M.Div) from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. She is a candidate for Ordination in the Presbyterian Church USA. She currently works as Director of Children, Youth, & Families at a church in Seattle 3/4 time and hosts at a drop in center for unhoused neighbors 1/4 time. She pet-sits, walks dogs, occasionally babysits, & if there is any free time in her schedule she grabs a shift at a local youth shelter. She is also engaged to Daniel, they got engaged in Dinosaur costumes.
